Project Abstract

In the food industry, color consistency is a critical quality parameter affecting consumer perception and product standards. KALEIDOSCOPE is an automated color analysis and quality control system for ETİ Makine that converts RGB images captured by a camera to the CIELAB color space for more perceptually accurate measurements. The system employs a convolutional neural network for colorimetric calibration, a dedicated image processing pipeline, and a user-friendly GUI, achieving Delta-E color errors within acceptable industrial tolerances as a cost-effective real-time alternative to traditional colorimeters.
