Project Abstract

SmartHub is an integrated monitoring and inspection platform developed for KAREL's electronics manufacturing environments. It combines ESP32-S3-based environmental sensing, barcode/QR-based PCB identification, Raspberry Pi 4 image acquisition, and NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano vision processing in a unified structure. Data are transmitted via MQTT, processed by a FastAPI backend, stored in MongoDB, and visualized on a web dashboard. The prototype achieves reliable end-to-end communication, real-time monitoring, and AI-assisted defect inspection, providing a scalable Industry 4.0+ solution.
