Drones That Fly Together

DTFT presents a real-time radio-frequency (RF) based drone detection and classification system developed for METEKSAN. The framework analyzes signals in the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz ISM bands, combining FFT-based spectral detection with STFT spectrogram classification using a ResNet18 network. The system is implemented on a software-defined radio (SDR) with a GUI for live visualization. Experimental results show detection in under 0.3 seconds, classification in under 4 seconds, and classification accuracy exceeding 99%, surpassing the 95% target.
