12-24 VDC to 310 VDC High Efficiency High Step-up Boost Converter

DC⚡DC designs a high-efficiency DC-DC converter for BEKO that steps up 12–24 VDC to 310 VDC for caravan refrigerator compressors, addressing the need for mobile cooling. The design utilizes a Coupled Inductor Switched Capacitor (CISC) topology with specialized magnetic components and high-performance MOSFETs. The system targets at least 95% efficiency and 250W output power with output ripple below 1%, supporting reliable operation up to 85°C. The hardware prototype provides stable voltage regulation and effective thermal management, enabling direct DC–DC conversion without the inefficiencies of AC conversion stages.
