EEE Faculty member Prof. Ekmel Özbay received the 2024 Parlar Foundation Science Award.
Parlar Foundation Awards are given to evaluate the research and application studies and services of distinguished scientists and practitioners in all fields of science, to strengthen their work by documenting their competencies, and to encourage rising generations. Science Award; It is the award given to those who have made a significant contribution to science at the international level with their scientific studies and research or who have provided significant benefit to the development of the country with their scientific findings.
Prof. Dr. Ekmel Özbay was deemed worthy of the Parlar Foundation Science Award for his significant and long-term scientific contributions to the fields of nanophotonics, photonic crystals, semiconductor device technologies and metamaterials research.
