The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) has named Professor Sinan Gezici an IEEE Fellow.
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is the world’s largest technical professional organization with over 460000 members in more than 190 countries. IEEE is dedicated to advancing the fields of engineering, computing, and technology information. IEEE Fellow is the highest grade of IEEE membership. Less than 0.1% of voting members are selected annually for this member grade elevation following a rigorous evaluation procedure.
Prof. Sinan Gezici has been elevated by the IEEE Board of Directors, at its November 2024 meeting, to IEEE Fellow, effective 1 January 2025, for his contributions to wireless localization and ultra-wideband systems.
