Prof. Tolga Çukur of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering has been named a fellow of the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM).
ISMRM is an international, nonprofit, scientific association whose purpose is to promote communication, research, development and applications in the field of magnetic resonance in medicine and biology and other related topics. This recognition was given to Dr. Çukur for his outstanding contributions to computational MRI techniques, including machine learning algorithms for robust image reconstruction, translation and analysis as well as steady-state sequences and their clinical and neuroscientific applications.
